Whistle Creek Hickory Hiking Staff comes with leather wrist strap (for hanging and keeping it from getting lost) and rubber tip (to reduce wear on staff's bottom and improve grip). Hickory is very strong yet has good tensile strength and will not break or snap under severe use. This stick is natural (not 100% straight) and lacquered to improve it's lifespan.
