The Tenacious R.I.L. elevates the design to all-new heights by expressing it with titanium handle scales and an ultra-reliable Reeve Integral Lock™ (R.I.L.) mechanism. Meticulously crafted from solid 6AL4V titanium, the scales have precision-machined recesses on their interior surfaces to minimize weight and are color anodized a brilliant blue. The reverse-side scale is machined to create an integral lock bar that forms the basis of the knife’s R.I.L., or “frame lock.” It includes an inlaid stainless steel interface that ensures a positive lock-up and a long service life, as well as functioning as an overtravel stop during lock release. The business end of this remarkable knife features a full-flat ground, PlainEdge™ blade crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel.
