The Opinel No 8 Bushwhacker series features the standard number 8 with a stainless steel blade and beech wood handle. The difference is that they come in different colours to suit you and a leather lanyard that gives you another way to carry or hang them giving you greater flexibility.
This Knife features the Virobloc Safety rings. The Virobloc safety ring was invented and implemented in 1955. This simple yet effective locking system greatly improved the original knife.The ability to help prevent the blade from opening when closed was added to the Virobloc in 2000.
