The problem always faced by anglers who use live prawns as bait is to keep them alive as long as possible after being impaled by the fishing hook. With these hooks, you avoid having to poke a hole through their body and instead use their shell to keep them to the hook, thereby giving you the edge of using live prawns over dead prawns for as long as possible and extending the investment in your live bait.
These come in pre-tied rigs to save you time and get you fishing right away. End of each rig is a swivel snap.
Using these hooks is simple.
Step 1: Loop the rubber band across the horn of the prawn (colour of rubber band may vary)
Step 2: Place the metal "step" under the shell of the prawn's head
Cast and you are ready to go.
