The Ontario ASEK Survival Knife System 1400 stands for Aircrew Survival Egress Knife, a very compact fixed blade that packs a punch when you need help in the wild.
It is fully coated in Zinc Phosphate making the blade impervious to rust to its in perfect condition when it needs to be. In a single tool it is has a saw, serrations and a knife edge for all kinds of work and the back has a glass breaker made from solid steel, which can be used for hammering work as well.
The rubber handle is large giving the user a firm grip, even when wearing gloves.
