Atwood Rope Logo
Atwood's Yellow Kevlar Paracord 50 feet is an even strong version of the paracord we normally get. It still features a 550 pound (around 250kg) breaking strength. Paracord application for outdoor and camping activities are plenty including for use as a paracord bracelet, tent guyline, tying up basically anything, an emergency life line (not designed for but can be used in emergency situations), snares and the list goes on with your imagination. The paracord is resistant to both rot and UV, so leaving it outdoors for a long time is not a problem.

Atwood's Kevlar Paracord has a special outer shell made from Aramid (Kevlar) with nylon core threads. It has a kernmantle construction with an outer sheath (32 strand wooven) and 7 inner strands. These inner strands can be removed from the outer sheath for use in a variety of survival situations.
The main difference between regular paracord and kevlar is that it is more than double the strength and also heat resistance, this paracord retains its integrity even in hot temperatures. That makes this type of paracord even more useful to firemen and military applications.
