There are many ways you can cook an egg, including boiling (half and full boil), frying it or baking it (make sure to protect it to prevent an egg explosion!).
|
 | To fry an egg:
Step 1: Add a teaspoon of cooking oil into a mess tin. Spread it out so that the egg will not stick to the mess tin. Let it heat up for around 30 seconds. Break the eggs and pour it into the mess tin. |
 |
Step 2:
Stir the egg with a spoon or fork, to ensure that it is cooked evenly. Fried egg will be cooked very quickly, usually with a minute. |
 |
Step 3:
Once all of the egg is firm (means it is cooked), remove it off the flame and its done.
Add pepper for better taste.
|
 | To boil an egg:
Step 1: Fill the mess tin with water. Around 2/3 to 3/4 full is fine. You can either let the water reach a boil (bubbles rising and steam is visible on the surface) first or just put the eggs in the mess tin and boil the water. |
 | Step 2:
Let the egg cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Cover the mess tin to speed up cooking. Is possible, drop the egg into cool water. Peal of the shell to consume.
|
Tips:
When boiling eggs, placing a cover will cut down the cooking time by 10% to 20%. Half-boiled eggs take half the time, so 4-5 minutes should be enough for them. To know if the egg is fully cooked, you can shake it hard, if you feel that it is solid, it means its fully cooked. |
