When camping, it would be best to make use of your natural surroundings to make your camp gadgets. They of course can be built with gadget poles and other materials, but this article demonstrates several natural camp gadgets.
| Clothes Line All you need is a branch and two trees! Rope or vine may also be used to hold the hangers in place, but sticks work best. If you can, jam in the branch between the two trees. If you are not able to do so, you could instead tie it to the trees. Some branches make good hangers too as show in the second picture. All you need is a Y-shaped branch and break it to shape as shown.

Step 1: Jam a branch into 2 shrubs or trees as shown. Make sure the branch is slightly longer than the distance apart from the 2 shrubs. A good distance apart would be 1.5m to 2.5m.
Step 2: Make a branch into a hangar as shown. This is the fastest way to make a hangar, however finding that perfect hangar for clothes maybe difficult. Either make do with what you have or lash to branches to form a 'T' shape to use as an ideal natural hangar.
Step 3: Place the branch over the line and slot in the shirt and your natural hangar system is in place!
Mess tin / Cooking Utensil Rack All you need to do is to set erect a series of branches. Then you can just slide you mess tins and other utensils on the Y-shaped forks of the branches!
