About Nalno.com

Nalno.com is a business that sells outdoor and camping goods to organisations and individuals in Singapore. However, rather than just simply selling stuff, we also provide information that would help others conduct these activities with greater success and fun.

Hence we have created the information part of the website in addition to the shop section, which we hope will provide you with information to conduct better outdoor activities. If you wish to find out more about anything specific, do email either us and we will try to write an article about it. Also if you feel that there is certain items we should carry, do let us know and we will see if we can add your suggestion to our inventory!

Lastly, what we hope to do is to raise the level of outdoor equipment available in Singapore. If you have been doing outdoors activities in Singapore for a while, you would realise that equipment falls mostly into the cheapo/rubbish category category. We aim to do better to meet the needs of those who want quality equipment designed by people who actually use that equipment at a reasonable price.

About Varun

I has been involved in the Scout Movement for many years, being invested as a cub scout in 1994 and am currently a Scouter. He mainly does the business end of Nalno and also writes most of the articles on the website.

I have a great interest in doing outdoor activities and helping others to do them as well. Some of the stuff I have done includes climbing Mount Kinabalu, kayaking to Pulau Hantu and back and cycling across the American South-West.
